Woodward and NYC trip to Beard Competition

So last weekend I took a little trip to Woodward East for 2 days and then to New York City for the NYC Beard Championships. It was fun riding and hanging out with Jeremiah Smith, Harry Main, Bestwick, Kagy, Wessel, Seth Klinger and everyone else who was there riding. Seth was hurt and couldnt ride. Jeremiah and Harry were destroying it. I love watching Jeremiah ride, and it was cool to meet Harry and see him do ridiculous stuff. Harry sounds like the Lucky Charms cereal dude and I kept trying to get him to say “Magically Delicious” Too bad it never happened.

The main purpose of my trip was to go to the NYC Beard Championships. So Me, Kagy and Wessel and my friend Dave the filmer headed to NYC. It was my first Beard contest and it ruled. Kagy was an official guest judge! I entered Full beard natural category and it was sweet to be on the same stage as World Champion Jack PAssion. Jack is super cool and is down with Failure. Trevor who works with Hell on Earth and Coalition was also there. And one of the coolest things was this dude Mantooth who came up to me and Wessel and told us that he came to Woodward a couple years ago and after seeing Nate and I and seeing my long beard, it inspired him to grow his mammoth beard. Beards Rule!

Failures Raul Ruiz and Travis Kiesow hit up the LA Street jam.
